In 2000, the Davis family entered into the Quartz surface business after previously succeeding in the dairybusiness. The jump from one industry to the other was quite drastic, but the Davis family was up for the challenge. They purchased quartz processing equipment in 2000 and opened their processing in Le Sueur, MN in 2001. The original processing facility was 150,000 sq ft and became known for the company’s product innovation, customer service, and quality control. Cambria originally began business as a tile manufacturer. 

From 2004 to 2009, Cambria saw huge growth. More design centers were opened around the country, and numerous advertising campaigns and partnerships were launched. This period really solidified the impression of Cambria Quartz, and it was a great impression, to say the least. In 2010, online shopping became available, taking the brand into the new era. From then until today, Cambria has expanded their locations, lounges, design options, and online presence. The reputation of the brand has never faltered from the high-end, customer-centered image. More and more distribution or installation companies have started to work with Cambria Quartz, including Planet Stone! Cambria is certainly held as one of the top quartz manufacturers in America.
